When you think about turkish food. We dont want you only to think about baklava, kebab, turkish delight. We have more than that.

Because of it is geografical position Turkey has got a very interesting and divers food . One part of Turkey has got a border line to Middle east, other part of Turkey has border line to Mediterranien, other part has got border line to europe. Every reagion has got their own tastes.

Majorty of Turkish people are muslim. That is why they dont eat pork. But still there are some The Christians included Armenian, Greek, and Syrian Orthodox; Armenian and Syrian Catholics; and members of various Protestant denominations. You can not find the pork in every supermarket but the christian minorty or expats know where to find them.

I have to tell that majorty almos all of the turkish food is made with tomato, onion.
